240 Volt Single Throw Fusible Switches
This selection table identifies 240 V fusible single-throw switches available for 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire systems in ratings from 30 A to 1200 A. The table cross-references enclosure types (Type 1, Type 3R, Type 12, and Type 4X 304 stainless steel), line-side barrier options, and horsepower ratings for both standard one-time fuses and maximum dual-element time-delay fuses. Line-side barriers are factory included (as noted) to provide protection against inadvertent contact with energized parts in accordance with UL 869A and NEC service-entrance barrier requirements. Ground lugs are factory included on devices as noted, and neutral configurations are identified for applicable systems. For corner-grounded delta systems, switching poles are required on ungrounded conductors.
