Resin Encapsulated Buck Boost Transformers

Buck Boost Transformers are resin-encapsulated, dry-type autotransformers used to correct minor voltage fluctuations. They provide cost-effective voltage adjustment, improve equipment performance, and support single-phase applications with durable, sealed construction.

Sealed Single-Phase Buck Boost Transformers

When buck and boost transformers are interconnected as an autotransformer, they can supply small changes in voltage.

Units can also be used as isolation transformers for: 120 x 240 to 12/24 or 16/32 and 240 x 480 to 24/48 by connecting using the diagram on the nameplate.

Wiring diagrams and sizing are available from catalog 7414CT0201 or the technical drawing for the transformer.

When used to supply a three-phase four-wire load, the source must be three-phase four-wire.
