Resin Encapsulated Transformer

The following tables list resin-encapsulated dry-type transformers for indoor and outdoor power distribution applications, including catalog numbers and key performance specifications.

  • Type 3R Standard: Outdoor-rated enclosures for single-phase and three-phase transformers from fractional kVA through 30 kVA

  • Type 3R 304 Stainless Steel: Corrosion-resistant outdoor enclosures with similar voltage, kVA, and tap configurations

  • Type 4X 304 Stainless Steel: Enhanced washdown and harsh-environment protection with full-capacity taps and enclosure sizes ranging from 51X to 55X

  • Technical attributes: kVA ratings from 0.05 to 30 kVA, 120/240 V and 240/480 V configurations, weights from approximately 4 to 450 lbs, 115 °C temperature rise for resin-encapsulated models, and insulation classes up to 180 °C

  • Single-Phase Table: Lists compact 120/240 V resin encapsulated transformers with multiple temperature-rise options of 55 °C, 80 °C, and 115 °C, supporting a range of thermal performance and application requirements
